Česká rafinérská applies the Social Corporate Responsibility Standard and its external activities evaluates according the LBG methodology which are presented in the Social Responsibility Report

The integral part of the activities of Česká rafinerská is to provide financial gift the aim of which is to support the goodwill of the company and to fulfil the principles of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Both corporate bodies and natural persons can appeal to Česká rafinérská with their requests for sponsorship support of various areas. The reccomended form is the written application for a grant.

Sponsorship policy

The company policy for the allocation of its financial funds is based on the principle of the exclusive support to corporate bodies with the goal to help the following:

• to those who need it on social and health purposes, including the supplement to the state health care
• to widen the possibilities of spending leisure time to the town and village-dwellers of the surrounding areas within Česká rafinérská
• to preserve the cultural legacy and to develop regional cultural life
• to help to various projects of charitable character for the needed besides the framework of state aid system
• to back up above education programmes and further activities for the youth primarily in order to prevent from crisis behaviour
• to support the specific projects concerning the activities of local communities

The requests from the region of Most-Litvínov and Kralupy are preferred when being allocated. The received requests are discussed and appraised in a commissional way by Committee for financial gifts of Česká rafinérská. The recommendations of Committee are then being approved at(by) the Board of the Company. If the requests are approved they are then realised in the form of Financial Gifts Provision Agreement.
