ISO certification
Environment management system (EMS) and quality management system (QMS).
The Environment Management System and Quality Management System constitute the set
of rules and procedures of how to set up and use the systems of work safety,
environmental protection and quality management both in manufacturing and
nonmanufacturing plants.
Česká rafinérská joined these systems because continual quality
increase of its products and satisfaction growth of its customers as well as
meeting of legislative regulations, emergency situation prevention, accidental
release minimization, reduction in consumption of energy, raw materials,
chemicals, waste production and creating of the conditions for old ecological
loads removal on the site of the company are counted as its priorities.
The Environment Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:1996 and Quality
Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 were certificated in Česká
rafinérská by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Company in 2001.
The certificate was then vindicated in the year 2004 and the
results of the recertification audit confirmed that both the Environment
Management System and Quality Management System meet the requirements of above
mentioned norms. The validity of the certificate is three years. During them
there are periodic inspections held by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance
Company - www.lrqa.cz.
In 2005, Česká rafinérská won the upgraded ISO 14001:2004 certification.
Year 2007
was a successful year for Česká rafinérská in that it managed to defend its Environment Management
Systems Certification (ISO 14001) and the Quality Management Certification, plus newly acquired the Safety
& Occupational Hygiene Management System Certification (as per OHSAS 18001:1999 specification).
Česká rafinérská seeks for the systems of management to be integrated into normal operation
of the Company, and for each and every newly launched activity to be meaningful. Our aim is to – rather than an
administratively challenging giant – establish a system capable of facilitating identification of relevant prevention tools,
i.e. of avoiding the occurence of undesirable emergencies, and of using those tools effectively as a way of
bringing
about improvements in the area of safety, environmental protection, and customer satisfaction.
