Česká rafinérská is the largest crude oil processing company and the largest producer of oil products in the Czech Republic. It operates refineries in Litvínov and Kralupy nad Vltavou. The company was established on April 28th 1995. Česká rafinérská is a joint venture of 3 shareholders: refining-petrochemical holding company Unipetrol and the reputable international companies ENI and Shell.

Česká rafinérská applies the processing mode launched on 1st August 2003, whereby the Company acts as a plant operator in partnership with three “Processors” (i.e., UNIPETROL RAFINÉRIE a.s., Agip Česká republika, s.r.o. and Shell Czech Republic a.s.) which select the hydrocarbons to be processed and determine the products to be manufactured. Those “Processors” sell the entire production of the Company at the domestic and foreign markets.

The company is a proud holder of the certificate of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. It has a right to use the title Responsible Care. The Company is involved in the corporate donations, philanthropy, NGO and community support in regions of its activity.

 On the Litvínov 2010 Open Day

On Saturday, 19 June 2010, Česká rafinérská - jointly with Unipetrol RPA and other companies operating within the Litvínov-Záluží Chempark – hosted an Open Day. The event was attended by a total of 696 visitors; of those, 551 took a coach ride along the site with a commentary delivered by qualified guides.
